With a view to giving back to  the community Lois contributes to Lennox Head Primary School and Bangalow Public School with her “Buckett of Books” award on a monthly basis. Lois also constantly gives of her time and money to many worthy local groups, including Lennox Head Surf Club, Bangalow Bowling Club, Ballina Basketball Junior Sports team, the Bangalow Show and The Buttery.

The Lennox Head Surf Club is an integral part of the Lennox Head Community with it's infamous 7 Mile Beach being a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike. The Surf Club is a volunteer organisation and relies ont the support of donations from the public and corporate sponsors. Lois is proud to support the club and has a special interest in the "Nippers" which are the children aged 4 and up who could eventually be trained as future Life Savers for the club.

Pro-active in so many community based activites Lois and the team are involved and caring participants.

After a recent trip to Cambodia Lois became involved in assisting the Self Help Community School and the New Hope Community Centre and remains a constant and generous benefactor.
